What is Birthday Bliss?
Birthday Bliss is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading birthday joy to those in need, including children and hardworking labourers, by providing them with unforgettable birthday celebrations.We support individuals from 1 to 12 years old and families experiencing financial hardship, ensuring everyone deserves the magic of a birthday celebration.
About our Founder
Mika CoquiaMommy Mika has been in the UAE for 10 years. She has always been passionate about organizing unique events, mainly specializing in children’s birthdays since 2010 in the Philippines. She spent her career in sales and marketing and operations for over 15 years in the travel, fashion, legal, business consulting, events, and pharmaceutical industries.
A mother of two, and a former owner of IStyle Your Event PH, she firmly believes in the positive transformative power of birthday celebrations to children. She would always be involved in community service and charitable work back in her home country. She did this through feeding programs and doing some birthdays for a cause in partnership with other charity foundations and poor communities.
The Creation of Birthday Bliss
Every year on her daughter's birthday, Iris and her family held a special tradition: celebrating with children from a charity foundation in the Philippines. However, one year, they couldn't continue this tradition. Instead, they decided to bring their birthday cheer to Dubai. There, they chose to host three birthday parties for children from families facing hardship due to the pandemic.What started as three birthday celebrations blossomed into thirty-two. This heartwarming experience sparked the creation of Birthday Bliss. Founded on the belief that families facing difficulties need a reason for hope, Birthday Bliss aims to remind them that their struggles are temporary. Through the joy of birthdays, they offer a day to forget worries and create lasting memories. It's a day to feel supported by a community that cares.This journey has connected Iris and her family with a network of "birthday enthusiasts." Together, they share the dream of spreading joy, hope, and happiness to children and families in need, all through the magic of birthdays.
